I began using wood burning tools when I did the first Nautilus of Jules Verne. Later I did some of our old fighter aircraft, sailing ships worked good with this technique. Then I progressed to the Bald Eagles and other animals. All of the detail you will see in these pieces has been burnt into the wood. They are all designed to be hung on the wall but could be put on an easel in one desired.

This is a unique version of this logo. The spear haft is always pictured by itself and not with any lettering. I took the lettering from another logo to burn into this piece. What's more I made the feather look like areal feather. The book versions have that portion of the feather just colored in dark. Also I mottled the dark coloring on the spear shaft to make it look more like a real Indian spear shaft made from a tree limb. The book versions that part is just made black. They were an engine of destruction. I could do a side view of this like I did for the F 18 ( # 518 ) and it would show the craft better. Put on a nice piece of 12 X 10 wood it would be $50.
