These are renditions of the Phoenix bird. I used the wings from the Morpho didius from Peru. These creatures are raised by the thousands in butterfly farms Each piece is unique and a great deal of time & effort went into each one. They are protected by vapor tape. The backing is a beige crushed velvet. Light will move over it's surface also when seen in person. The picture does not do the piece justice. Protected by vapor tape.
